Meet the Trainer
Alissa Martin, BA, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA
DogSquared Training and Enrichment owner and trainer, Alissa Martin, has been training and working closely with shelter dogs for the past five years. Alissa adopted her first rescue dog, Oakley, in 2015 and she quickly discovered her love of training and rescue dogs.
Alissa has two dogs, Riley and Oakley, who bring her more joy than imaginable! She also often has a foster dog as a temporary member of her household. Let's just say she's never met a dog that she didn't fall in love with!
Alissa's commitment to dogs and their well-being runs deep which is why she is so focused on enriching the lives of dogs and their owners! She enjoys providing force free training options for dogs and their humans in Cheyenne, Wyoming and she holds the following certifications:
Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) with Karen Pryor Academy
Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) with the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers
Alissa is particularly fascinated with puppy socialization, enrichment, playgroups, and cooperative care. She is continuously educating herself on dog behavior and training by attending conferences and completing courses to help dogs succeed in a human world.
